Outpatient Mental Health Treatment

PCCC provides services to individuals dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, and other behavioral health concerns. Our team offers individual, group, and family therapy for adult, adolescent, and children. Therapy can be provided in our office, schools, and other community locations. We also offer telehealth services when appropriate.

Substance Use Treatment

Substance misuse and addiction can lead to health issues and unwanted consequences. The good news is recovery is possible. Perry County Counseling Center provides level 1 and 2 (intensive outpatient) outpatient substance use treatment to adults and adolescents. We also conduct DUI evaluations and provide Risk Ed and DUI treatment.

Substance Use Prevention Program

Our Substance Use Prevention Program provides evidence-based education to students in Perry and Jefferson counties, grades 4th to 9th. The program also implements a communication campaign, supports and assists with administering the Illinois Youth Survey, and promotes the safe use, storage, and disposal of medication. The trained prevention specialists plan events during National Prevention Week and facilitate youth advisory committees. The goal of the program is to reduce the use of substances by students in Perry and Jefferson counties.

Residential Treatment

PCCC offers a supervised residential group living arrangement where each program participant has a bedroom and shares common living areas. This program is provided to individuals with mental health concerns who are working to gain skills to live independently in their community. It is designed to be a transitional 18-month program. Staff are on site 24 hours per day to provide services and support to individuals in the program.

Community Support

PCCC provides community support services for individuals needing assistance with activities of daily living, such as budgeting, hygiene, or proper medication usage. Our Community Support program is designed to teach skills to increase daily functioning and work toward complete independence in the community. They also offer community support groups on-site and in the community.

Employment Services

Are you seeking employment with no success? Are you gaining employment but unable to maintain it? Our Employment program (IPS) may be for you! Employment Specialists assist with applications, job leads, resumes, interviews, and on-the-job coaching.

Crisis Intervention Services

PCCC staff are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, to respond by phone or provide more intensive care at community locations. We are also available for walk-in crisis intervention services during normal business hours. The crisis line can be reached by calling 618-542-HELP (4357).
